The Canadian government's Sky Canada project identified the November 7, 1990 Montréal event as one of Canada's notable historical UAP cases. The report states that a large oval-shaped luminous phenomenon was observed over the rooftop pool of the Bonaventure Hotel by approximately forty witnesses, including journalists and police officers. It also records that air-traffic controllers confirmed there was no radar activity in the area.
