UAP DISCLOSURE ARCHIVE

Coyne UFO Sketch

Type: Sketcs

Source:

there are actually multiple sketches associated with the case:

1. Captain Lawrence J. Coyne's sketch

Coyne's drawing represents the view from the helicopter cockpit. He described the object as:

approximately 60 feet long
gray/metallic in appearance
cigar or airfoil-shaped
with a dome-like structure
with red and green lights
2. Sergeant Robert Yanacsek's sketch

Yanacsek was the crew chief and one of the first people to notice the approaching red light. His sketch was created independently and became important because his perspective came from the rear of the helicopter rather than the cockpit.

3. Investigator reconstruction

Investigators later produced drawings combining witness descriptions, including the object's shape and apparent position relative to the helicopter.
