Jezzi is actually an interesting witness because his perspective was different from Coyne's. He was seated in the left front seat and was actively flying the UH-1H when the event occurred. According to later accounts, he did not initially see the approaching object because his view was partially obstructed, but he experienced the evasive maneuver when Coyne took control and later observed the object passing over/near the helicopter.
