Emily Trim

Emily Trim, a key witness in the 1994 Ariel School Incident in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, has died in November 2024 after a battle with cancer. At age 11, Trim and approximately 61 other students claimed to have witnessed extraterrestrial beings emerge from a spacecraft during school recess. The beings, described as dressed in black, reportedly communicated telepathically with the children about environmental and technological issues.

Trim, the daughter of Canadian missionaries, became a prominent voice in UFO research, later exhibiting artwork she described as manifestations of the messages received during the encounter. Her experiences were documented in the 2022 film Ariel Phenomenon and investigated by Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack. The New Paradigm Institute honored her as an extraordinary artist and pivotal figure in changing the historical understanding of the phenomenon.
