Paul Trent and Evelyn Trent were an Oregon farming couple who became famous for photographing a metallic disc-shaped object on May 11, 1950, near their farm outside Sheridan, Oregon. Evelyn spotted the silent, hovering craft while feeding animals and alerted Paul, who captured two black-and-white photographs before the object departed.
