Scottish forestry worker who reported encountering a large unidentified object in Dechmont Woods in 1979.

On 9 November 1979, Taylor reported encountering a dark, metallic, dome-shaped object approximately 21 feet (6.4 meters) in diameter hovering in a forest clearing. He claimed that two smaller, spiked spheres emerged from the craft, latched onto his legs, and dragged him toward the object before he lost consciousness. He awoke 20 minutes later with grazes to his chin and thighs, torn clothing, and a strong smell of burning brakes.
