Shaun Garrison

Shaun Garrison (also known as Sean Garrison) was a 9-year-old pupil at Broad Haven Primary School in Pembrokeshire, Wales, who was among the 14 children who witnessed a silver, cigar-shaped UFO land in a field next to the school playground on February 4, 1977.

Garrison and his classmates reported that the craft, approximately 45 feet long with a dome on top, landed silently and was followed by the appearance of small, silver-suited beings with large heads and no visible faces. The school’s headmaster, Ralph Llewhellin, separated the children and had them draw what they saw, resulting in strikingly similar sketches that corroborated the sighting.

Consistency: Garrison and the other witnesses maintained their accounts over decades, with Garrison affirming in later interviews that he had not fabricated the story.
Official Response: The incident prompted investigations by local police and the Ministry of Defence (MoD), which found no evidence of a hoax but never provided a definitive explanation for the craft or the beings.
Legacy: The event sparked a wider series of sightings in the region, known as the Broad Haven Triangle or Welsh Triangle, with Garrison remaining a key witness in one of the UK’s most famous mass UFO encounters.
