Terezinha Gallo Clepf

On April 21, 1996, Terezinha Gallo Clepf, a 67-year-old housewife, reported sighting a creature at the Varginha Zoo in Minas Gerais, Brazil, roughly three months after the initial incidents involving three young girls.

While attending a birthday party at the zoo's Paiquerê restaurant, Clepf stepped onto the veranda to smoke and observed a being approximately four meters away. Her description included a creature with dark, oily brown skin, red luminescent eyes, and a yellow or gold helmet on its head, which distinguished it from the earlier accounts that described protrusions or ears. She stated the being remained motionless and stared at her for about five minutes before she retreated inside.

Coinciding with this sighting, five animals at the zoo (two deer, a jaguar, a tapir, and a blue macaw) died under mysterious circumstances, with veterinary reports citing an unknown toxic substance or generalized infection as the cause. This testimony is frequently cited in ufological discussions of the Varginha Incident as corroborating evidence, although official military investigations have dismissed the entire case as a misunderstanding involving a mentally challenged local man
