Vincent Pawlowski

Vincent "Bill" Pawlowski was a doorman at the Stonehenge Apartments in North Bergen, New Jersey, who provided critical corroboration for the 1975 North Hudson Park UFO sighting. On the night of January 12, 1975, Pawlowski witnessed a row of bright lights hovering about 10 feet off the ground in the adjacent park, consistent with the account of primary witness George O’Barski.

As Pawlowski attempted to call the police to report the unusual lights, the lobby's plate-glass window was mysteriously shattered by an indentation from the outside, with no projectile found. Although local police initially dismissed his report as alcohol-induced, researcher Budd Hopkins later documented Pawlowski’s testimony as key evidence of a close encounter of the second and third kinds, noting that Pawlowski and O’Barski had no prior communication regarding the event.
