On July 15, 2019, the USS Omaha detected a swarm of unknown aerial objects off the coast of San Diego, with radar tracks showing as many as 14 contacts surrounding the ship simultaneously. Filmmaker Jeremy Corbell released this Combat Information Center (CIC) radar footage, which corroborates earlier infrared video of a spherical object that entered the water and vanished without trace.
Key details of the radar tracks:
Duration: Crew monitored the objects for two hours using multiple sensor systems.
Speed: Radar estimated speeds ranging from 46 to 138 knots (approx. 53–158 mph).
Anomalies: Some objects dropped off radar while others remained visible, and one object vanished into the ocean at approximately 11:00 PM, leaving no wreckage.
Confirmation: The Pentagon’s UAP Task Force considers these spheres to be true unknowns with no identifiable origin.
Similar coordinated intrusions were reported by eight other Navy ships in the same area over three days, with estimates of 50 to 100 total contacts within a 100-mile radius.
