The Allagash Abductions refer to a controversial 1976 incident in Maine’s Allagash Wilderness Waterway where four men—Jack Weiner, Jim Weiner, Chuck Rak, and Charlie Foltz—claimed to have been abducted by extraterrestrial beings after witnessing a glowing object on Eagle Lake. For decades, the case was considered a benchmark in UFO research because the men, who underwent separate hypnosis sessions, provided consistent details of medical examinations by non-human entities, passed polygraph tests, and displayed physical evidence such as scars and psychological trauma.
